About Us
Thank you for your interest. My name is Kate and I am the club teacher. I have been practising karate for 24 years and although karate has a loud and aggressive reputation I can honestly say that this is not my style. Discipline yes, bullying very definitely no! I have a real passion for teaching the children and it was that passion which led to the opening of KEBBA (Kate Easdale Black Belt Academy) nearly 18 years ago. Since that time the club has matured into a wonderful vibrant part of my life. It's terrific, full of great people (children and adults) but don't take my word for it!

At KEBBA the children learn and experience many things not just karate! We all enjoy working hard and having fun! We teach karate in a way that blends martial arts with important life skills like, boundaries, being respectful to others, saying please and thank you and learning to focus and concentrate on any given task. The children also learn the value of team work, motivation and self discipline.
